Has always been a favorable place for adventures of trekking, mountaineering, camping, rock- climbing , skiing , rafting , wild life as well as pilgrimages , yoga and meditation and many more to say ,seeing all this wonder gift to Himalayas , Ajay Bhatt resident of Joshimath [ Garhwal Himalaya ] was inspired to explore the beauty and the majesty of the great Himalayas and with the help of local and experienced people come into existence the HIMALAYAN SNOW RUNNER which was established on 2001 and since then the company has never seen back and guided, helped,  informed not only thousands Indian but also foreigners of many countries and explored the best available in the Himalayas with a quality to differ and experience

Personal Profiles

Ajay Bhatt is a native of Joshimath in Garhwal Himalayas. He is a mountaineer in every sense of the word and most of all a kind human being. He is more ‘at home’ in the mountains than in the office. Behind the cool exterior lies a treasure trove of knowledge gathered over years of wandering in the Himalayas. His qualifications include Basic, Advance & MOI (Method of Instruction) in Skiing. He has been the national champion for the year 1998 and 2000 in alpine skiing and so many silver and bronze. His zeal and enthusiasm lie in trying to making a real positive impact in the society he lives in and imparting education to the locals in preserving and raising awareness of the environment. He also runs his own business in mountaineering & adventure sports, viz. Himalayan Snow Runner, based in Joshimath.
